Why are the prices so low? We own the lodge, the ranch, run the safari company, and do the hunting.

Management Non-Trophy

Culling hunts are for hunters that wants to experience the hunt and Safari but don’t want to mount or export the animals they hunted – only memories and photos. All the meat of the animals hunted will be processed on the farm and sold as good clean protein to the communities in the area – this way you keep hunting sustainable and help with food security in Africa. Some of the areas have just to many animals so by culling we keep the numbers down. Lets make you a package deal – culling prices are very affordable.

Rates Include

  • The full services of professional hunter, tracker, skinners, cooks and camp assistants.
  • Exclusive use of hunting areas and privacy guaranteed.
  • Full accommodation, meals, and refreshments with daily laundry service.
  • Beer and wine in moderation.
  • All hunting licenses.
  • Hunting vehicle and equipment.
  • All basic field preparation of trophies.
  • Transfers between hunting areas and to the airport and back.
  • Delivery of trophies to local taxidermist.
  • VAT on accommodation.
Rates Do Not Include
  • Trophy fees (taxidermist preparation and shipping).
  • Gratuities to professional hunter and other staff.
  • Meat of trophies hunted.
  • All animals wounded must be paid in full.
  • Airplane, hotel, and telephone costs are excluded.
  • All extra activities (fishing, big six game reserves, golf, etc.)
  • Firearm rental and ammunition ($50 per day).

Hunting on Sundays

We believe Sundays to be resting days, so if we can we normally go to the church as a family and you are welcome to join us. We also understand that your time are limited so we are willing to make exceptions with your Safari.

Notes

  • 50% deposit on daily rates.
  • Children 0 – 13 free.
  • We generally recommend a hunting period of 7+ days.
  • Daily rates are charged on the day of arrival and the day of departure.

Business Terms

All payments must be made in cash or by bank transfer. A 50% deposit of the total daily rate is required to confirm the booking. Balance of daily rates payable on arrival.

Bird Hunting In South-Africa Is The Most Diverse In The World

Rock Pigeons & Doves: High volume shooting of some of the most challenging game birds in the world. The hunts are mostly done around sunflower and sorghum fields but can also be done around cattle feedlots. About 500 to 1 000 shots per day. Best to hunt from March to June. POR.

Duck & Geese: Mostly hunted around water from blinds early mornings and late afternoons, but can also be hunted over decoys on cornfields. Big fun with high volumes of birds from 4+ species of ducks and 2 species of geese that includes the huge Spurwinged goose. Hunting season from May to August. POR.

Guinea Fowl: Big flocks of these amazing birds are mostly driven to fly over hunters. 3+ Hunters needed per group for a good hunt. Hunting season from May to August. POR.

Franklin, Quail, and Partridges: Mostly done over dogs or by walking over grasslands. Hunting season from May to August.
